This is a great place to stay at. The facilities are great and the whole environment is so relaxing. The service is great. The reception lady welcomed us with such enthusiasm and friendliness. The staff rapaired the toilet handle in my room before I even had a chance to report it. Well done and I would recommend this accommodation to anyone that is in the area.

The place to stay in Newcastle! Hidden oasis at the foot of the Drakensberg…Newcastle Country Lodge. What an amazing choice for celebrating our 50th matric reunion,(the 1976 matrics of Newcastle High School). An incredible venue. A Country Lodge managed by a dedicated manager….Clarissa , always friendly and at your service , and her passionate team. From the moment we arrived at reception, untill the day we departed we were treated like loyalty. Lush velvety green lawns embox the enviting blue water of n large swimming pool, surrounded by well maintained flowery beds.Lush green palm trees provide the most lovely shade for an afternoon nap next to the pool! Having travelled the world, this little gem deserves a 5* rating….their delicious food is home cooked to perfection, their rooms are as clean and neat as a pin…baby soft towels, snow white high count egyption cotton thread linen. And the best part… at a fraction of expected rates! All of us will be back! Thank you once again Clarissa , staff and owners.

All good, I enjoyed. However if you may indicate to clients, if they wanna stay longer after booking. You can tell everyone that its 1 or 2 or 300 per hour after check out time. If the client has not yet checked out. Thank you every much am coming back soon. Very nice pleace ❤️💙💜💖.

I've had the absolute pleasure of staying at Newcastle County Lodge, and I'm still beaming from the exceptional service and hospitality shown to us during our recent 60th high school reunion. Clarissa, the manager, sets the tone for this outstanding lodge, and her team is a testament to her leadership. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and made to feel like VIPs. The staff, without exception, were attentive, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of spectacular. The attention to detail and level of service we received is a credit to Clarissa's management and the lodge's commitment to excellence. The housekeeping team deserves a special shout-out – I've never experienced such meticulous attention to detail, not just in South Africa, but anywhere I've traveled. Fresh sheets every morning, towels that felt like clouds, and a level of cleanliness that was simply stunning. To Clarissa and her amazing team, thank you for making our milestone reunion truly unforgettable. You've set a high bar, and I have no doubt you'll continue to exceed expectations.
