Accommodation Review – Nongoma Guest House (Room 10) I checked in on 20/12/2025 and checked out on 21/12/2025, booked to occupy Room 10 (as indicated on the key). I feel obliged to express my dissatisfaction with the check-in experience on the evening of the 20th. Upon arrival, my booking could not be found, and I was unexpectedly directed to a very small rondavel which, to my surprise, had no lighting or visible light switch. This experience was particularly disappointing because I have previously stayed at this establishment and still regard it as an excellent guest house overall. However, on this occasion, the administrative handling of my arrival was poor and fell far below the standard I associate with the brand. The check-in process took almost an hour, during which multiple calls were made to the main reception. Unfortunately, the staff appeared unprepared, unsure, and disengaged, offering little assistance or urgency. What was most concerning was the apparent indifference—staff even indicated they were “okay” with us submitting a complaint, which reflects a worrying lack of accountability and brand pride. I strongly believe that additional training for administrative and reception staff would significantly improve guest experience and help protect the reputation of an otherwise well-established and respected guest house. I share this feedback constructively and hope it will be taken seriously to ensure future guests do not encounter similar issues.

It's a nice place, the food there is delicious. But there was no wifi on the other section of the lodge, and security needs to be tightened up because yooh.

I did not interact much with the staff as I was in a hurry.Spend a night in room 40 the room was super clean, quality bedding n super soft.As for the mattress is off high quality, I would recommend this quest house to anyone visiting Nongoma❤️❤️

I went there for their lunch today and WOW 😍👏🏽 They’re definitely seeing me back again 12/10, the atmosphere, the birds chirping outside, the stellar service and the AMAZING food, I am am pleasantly surprised.
