About Ollivanders Estate

Ollivanders Estate has two beautiful wedding venues. Argus is the smaller of the two seating up to 150 guests.

The interesting design with natural stone cladding makes it completely unique and lends itself to requiring less décor, simply enjoying the beauty of nature. Argus is only 25 minutes from Durban with stunning views over the Shongweni Dam and nature reserve. Set on 25 acres of country estate, there are limitless photo opportunities, ranging from spectacular views to forest themes.

Some places simply host a wedding. Olivanders became part of our story. The quiet excitement as we arrived, the way the gardens seemed to pause with us before everything began, and the overwhelming sense that we were exactly where we were meant to be. The team at Olivanders gave us something every couple hopes for on their wedding day. The freedom to be fully present. Because every detail was handled with such care and confidence, we got to soak in moments we wish we could relive forever. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful everything was, but what stood out to us most was how loved and looked after we felt from beginning to end. We left with memories that feel like home. Choosing Olivanders was one of the easiest and best decisions we made, and a piece of our hearts will always remain there.

From the moment we discovered Ollivanders on Happily, we knew it was the perfect venue for our special day. We must give credit where it is truly deserved. The entire experience, from our initial contact with Pam to the wedding day itself, was a happy and exciting experience. Pam was incredibly welcoming and accommodating when we first arranged a viewing. She made our decision to choose Ollivanders an easy one. Throughout the entire process, she was a constant source of support, answering every question with sincerity and offering invaluable advice. The charming, rustic surroundings of Ollivanders provided a magical, fairytale setting, making our wedding day feel truly special. The accommodation was as comfortable as a home away from home. Pam’s role in making our day so perfect cannot be overstated. We are immensely grateful for her dedication and for the stress-free, exciting journey she provided us.
