I enjoy and appreciate the service from the staff, friendly and welcoming always this can be justified by the monies I've spent at the hotel and Bar. With all that said I've noticed that Management seems to have a problem with regulars especially locals maybe they prefer "school parents", "Corporate bookings" and "Tourist" as they always seem to find issues with how Bar staff interact with "regulars/locals" forgetting mostly people come or go to the bar based on how friendly and welcoming the staff and environment is putting aside how bad the food is most of the time but we choose not to complain or make any drama about it because this is where we come after a long day at work or get a nice corner and work from there keeping in mind aircon at the bar don't work you can hardly hear the TV volume especially when watching sport but we soldier through it all. This is my first review of the hotel because incidences seem to be adding up, so I have and other locals/regulars decided to collect POEs of the service and food to show that I'm/we not pulling all this from thin air. As we should now mind how we interact with staff and mind where we sit and how.

Set in the beautiful Hilton just off the N3, Anew Hotel is really excellent getaway. The hotel itself is beautifully designed with well maintained architecture that incorporates the modern and classic look. Unfortunately the hotel did not inform us that would be a corporate function held at the venue that day which did cause a bit of a ruckus. Nevertheless, the Deluxe suite was excellent and very well equipped. The TV and streaming service did have a slight delay and internet was a bit choppy. It would be nicer if the rooms a better view. Unfortunately we just had the aircon units outside our window.

Great hotel for business travel. The room was spacious with a dedicated workspace, and the in-room Wi-Fi was incredibly fast and stable. This hotel has a unique vibe, which is amazing. The staff were really polite and welcoming. It was a pleasant stopover whilst on a business trip.

An awesome venue , however the service was terrible. Our food came out in intervals. Not only was the food cold the pepper steak sauce we had was borderline diabolical. Must have been atleast a half a KG of peper corns in it. They some how also had no potatoes , pizzas or lemons in stock. Probably 3 of the easiest things to procure. Not hard to pop to checkers which was 400 meters down the road. They also charge 380 rand for a 400 gram sirloin steak which was cold and really not worth it. I recommend going to waxies wich is just down the road. They wont deliver cold food and will also go over and above for the customers. Finally when any bills were rounded up they managed to butcher that harder then the food orders. Adding things that were never ordered and just terribly managing situations that you would expect an upper class hotel to be able to handle with ease.
