I arrived at the gate, to find no one there, waited then phoned and only then did someone eventually show up to check me in. Thereafter I asked where dinner is served and whilst the lady was explaining the directions she stopped mid-conversation to casually converse with another employee for about a good 5 minutes whilst I stood there waiting. When she was finally done with her conversation she shows me where the dinner place is and whilst she was taking my order, her cellphone rang she did not bother to even excuse herself and forgot about me and the order she placing. I was eventually helped by someone else. My food took an hour and a half to arrive to my bedroom incomplete, because they had forgotten the drink and when I was ready to leave in the morning I was locked in the house to be told that the key was on my room key which was information I had not been told yet expected to know. In essence this 4 star guest house is an amazing place, with beautifully decorated rooms and an aesthetically pleasing exterior, their meals are also delicious however it lacks the level of customer service a 4 star usually provides and as a result it made my stay quite unpleasant.

The rooms were amazingly clean and way too spacious with more room amenities you can ever get in any hotel/ guest house anywhere. I've been in all kinds of hotels/ guest houses but none beats the luxury,space and comfortability Aristo Manor has to offer and at a very good price too. Very friendly management and staff too. I'd recommend this place as a first stop to anyone visiting Richards bay anytime. There's no better place than this one. We slept like babies for the six day stay there by the way....thanks to the rooms that turn into space at night (like very dark)..... My wife is way too particular but can't stop bragging about this particular place......

Looked very clean. Service promising. Putty they were fully booked. Infact no wonder they were fully booked. If wish to book and sleep with them next time to experience their full service. I managed to get inside though and Converse with one staff member who assisted me find an alternative accommodation since Aristo was fully booked.

We stayed in falcons nest.Its a small two bedroom apartment.Besides the thatch roof that was not mentioned the apartment was clean and modern.All appliances worked well. It only has a shower and the lookoit deck does not have a safety gate (Lots of stairs too) that is not suitable for small children like mine. Overall a good experience.
