About Summerhill function venue

Summerhill function venue is located in the New Hanover area, in the middle of a forest.

An old working farm that has been converted into a beautiful rustic wedding venue. We offer the following - Accommodation for 50 people. A choice of the following, a forest venue for the ceremony, The tractor shed for the ceremony or reception, The Cow shed for the reception. Tables and benches are included in our wedding packages.

I attended a wedding here in August , it is a beautifully set venue surrounded by Mondi Blue Gum Forests 🌳. It’s a large venue with a choice of accommodation from a large wooden house on stilts sleeping maybe 8 to smaller cottages with all the necessities all the way to the named “pigsties” which are basic rooms just enough for a overnight stay . There are communal toilets and showers for the overnighters, it is rustic but it is neat . The ceremony was under the gum trees 🌳 in the forest and there is a small hall with dining tables comfortably seating 70 . There is two large bonfire pits and an outdoor “tractor shed “ to party away in Beautiful venue and pleasant helpful staff !

Wow, what a place to relax. I mean, I know it's a venue for functions but it's much more. A place for the family to unwind. The hosts are very accommodating. Breathtaking views, away from everywhere.
