We are located in Lephalale/Ellisras en rout to Exxaro Grootegeluk Coal Mine Matimba and Medupi Power Station, as well as the Groblersbrug/Stockpoord border.

We are on the main road headed into Lephalale OR Tambo Road / R510.

Nice place, Cozy. Wonderful, friendly host. The fridge was not plugged in when we arrived and makes a big noise when it is on. Comfortable and quiet place. Some areas need improvement. The entrance to the place can be confusing especially if you are coming into Lephalale after dark. You can miss it and I almost did. Will definitely come back here if I am in the area

A bit out of town but that’s great. Super friendly and accommodating staff…we booked in late and last minute as our other accommodation had double booked us. Breakfast was superb and the grounds are awesome to go for an early morning jog (very safe) . Stunning!

What a wonderful experience! From the start, Fya and Johan went out of their way to make our stay as memorable as possible. They sent us the loadshedding schedule ahead of time, but it was not needed as they have a backup generator. The accommodation also included breakfast. Fya inquired about our special requests for breakfast, and the preparation was spot-on. From cereals, fruit cocktails, jogurts, fresh fruit juice, and various breads to a full English breakfast! We will definitely recommend Shanyane Guesthouse!
