Kampvuur & Konfetti @ Ilnika Farmstay – Where magic, music, and memories meet the bushveld breeze We travel a lot—shows, music, food, art—you name it. But every now and then, we find a place that stays with you. Kampvuur & Konfetti just outside Naboomspruit was one of those places. Myself, Logan, and the entire band stayed here for a show, and honestly… I could have stayed forever. It’s tucked away in the heart of the bushveld, yet it feels like something straight out of a fairytale. The rooms are huge, clean, peaceful—those bathrooms alone deserve their own Instagram post. But it’s not just the space… it’s the soul of this place. The owner is a landscaper and it shows. Imagine eating wood-fired pizza under fairy lights, surrounded by lush, dream-like gardens that make you want to write a song, paint a canvas, or just breathe. There’s a calm here. A creative energy. And the food! Think smoked salmon & avo pizza, pancetta and blue cheese on herbed cottage cheese bases… yes, it’s that good. Their breakfasts are next-level, filled with colour, flavour, and edible flowers. (And yes, it tastes even better than it looks.) Things to do?
