About Hannah Game Lodge

Hannah Game Lodge, set in the heart of the African bushveld, lets their guests experience a sense of freedom and renewed spiritual inspiration.

The lodge lies amongst the gently rolling hills of the Northern Drakensberg Escarpment. This beautiful private game reserve embraces more than 8000 hectares of malaria free, unspoiled African bushveld. Accommodation is comprised of 56 elevated standard en-suite thatched roof chalets with private verandahs providing breathtaking views of this pristine private reserve. Fourteen of these units have inter-leading doors transforming into seven family units. There are also four standard suites and four luxury suites. All units are serviced on a daily basis and are also provided with clean towels and linen and all units have tea and coffee facilities. Please see the individual room descriptions with photographs below, to assist you with your choice. Guests are welcome to enjoy the facilities we have on offer; a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, satellite television, games room and gym. We also offer a laundry service, internet access, and a transfer service to and from the airports in the province. Absolutely loved. Our room was in a standalone building & had to be double the size of a regular hotel room, with a separate living room & small kitchen. Design & comfort were excellent -- bed, duvet & pillows were a dream. We had a small porch with table & chairs where we had a view of the watering hole. Pool was great & three minutes away. No problems with noise or packs of other guests. The lodge itself was big but comfortable, with great views of the game park. The food was terrific, far better than expected. Great salads, entrees, & desserts, always made by creative & talented chefs. Highly, highly recommended.

We had an absolutely amazing weekend at Hanna Lodge! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, the views were breathtaking, and the restaurant experience was exceptional — every meal was a real treat! The game drive was definitely a highlight. We saw an incredible number of animals in such a short time, which made the experience even more special. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with stunning scenery, great food, and outstanding service, I can highly recommend Hanna Lodge. We’ll definitely be back!

Enjoyed a peacefull Sunday lunch at their Waterbuck Restaurant. The food from the set menu was very tasty and beautifully prepared. Milicent made us feel at home. The view from the restaurant is spectacular.
