The manager was very rude it was as though he was doing us a favour by accepting our bookings. He had no sense of business etiquette, I don’t know why this place is still on websites such as booking.com. As for the receptionist she speaks no other language besides Tshivenda which made communication disastrous

Ok for a 1 nights stay. The staff was awesome, but the place needs some care. Its not bad, but I wouldn't go back unless I was in desperate need

My stay at Anisa Guest House was absolutely wonderful! The place is clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The rooms are spacious and well-decorated, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The location is perfect — peaceful yet close to everything I needed. The breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning, and the overall service was outstanding. I truly felt at home and will definitely be returning soon. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Our stay at Anisa Guest House was a complete disappointment from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the lady at reception was visibly disinterested and unwelcoming, setting the tone for the rest of our stay. The customer service is non-existent ,there was no sense of hospitality or care for guests. The water was cold on both days, forcing us to take cold showers . Although the shower was spacious, it was clearly dirty and poorly maintained, showing signs that it hadn’t been cleaned properly in quite some time. Breakfast was another letdown. The lady preparing breakfast cooks everything at once, regardless of what time guests plan to eat. As a result, the food is cold and reheated, with soggy chips and eggs made however they choose. When I politely asked for my egg to be well done, the lady seemed irritated and brought it back undercooked again, I ended up not eating it. To make matters worse, there was no cutlery provided, and I had to search the cupboards myself. The access road is in terrible condition, which future guests should be aware of. Getting in and out is also inconvenient , each time you return, you have to call someone to open the gate, which becomes frustrating. The only highlight of our stay was the spa — the ladies there were friendly, professional, and made us feel genuinely friendly. Thoroughly enjoy it unfortunately, this small positive did not make up for the overall poor experience. In summary, I would not recommend Anisa Guest House. The lack of customer care, cleanliness, and basic guest comfort made it one of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve had.
