Incredibly happy with our visit. Friendly and accommodating staff. We were a group of 20 people and everything was taken care of the rooms are stunning and clean Thank you very much Felicia and Sipho :)

What a horrible experience. Do not!!! and I repeat, do not!! waste your time paying for this experience. We had to shower when they eventually switched on the geysers, after we had to phone in for the problem of not having hot water. The swimming pool and chairs at the pool was dirty. Looking at the advertisements, this lodge does not deliver at all. The staff could not answer most of our questions etc. The food was horribly over priced for the plate you actually get. R150.00 for 5 lamb bones where you could only get 1 x 1cm meat off? And no trimmings as per the menu which was scratched on etc, this is not what you expect or deserve. The menu really looked like a child was doing art on it, horrible. No thank you!!!

Was very worried when we came after eading bad reviews, but very pleasantly surprised that this was not close to previous negative reviews. We can see there is new mainrenance and upgrading in progress, the new rooms at the bottom is very spacious an tiptop clean on arrival and cleaned daily by the very friendly staff. Checking in was no problem and Sipho even arranged fire wood for us to braai. The braai was even lit for us. Appart from the not to bad gravel roed we realy enjoyed the stay and do recomend this place for the tranquility. Breakfast was great and propper portion was prepaired. No mine or other sound was heard so this place is recommended. If we ever come this way we gladly support you again thank you African rest Employees and management, Sipho and team.

Great space for group bookings for family friends and work purposes. They have a conference hall with a projector. Sipho at the kitchen was amazing. Their menue is simple yet tasty. It feels like home really. It's quiet and surrou ded by beautiful mountains. The rooms are perfect with just enough privacy. The rooms are grouped together so when traveling as a group you can stay close to watch other but each has their private space. It's almost like a homestead. The pools are amazing please perfe try to cat h the mountain view. There's a lot of indigenous plants in the area. I was impressed that there were no money problems. Love the place!
