Pleasantly greeted by the owner and chef. Beautiful restaurant and I wished we booked before we had a late lunch on the way. This would have been a meal worth waiting for by the looks and smell of it. Beautifully crafted place. The room we stayed in was very spacious with everything we needed and more. Clean, comfortable bed, desk, good WiFi and electric blankets which was a huge bonus in winter! Peter, thank you for the interesting chat in the morning and your attention to detail with such a good heart. Definately an authentic place worth visiting!

What an amazing stay over. An impromptu decision looking for a clean and safe guesthouse lead us to 44onEnnis. A warm welcome, some chit chat and banter with the host, lead to a few drinks and eventually to the most awesome steak i have ever had in Mpumalanga. We ended the night retreating to our luxury room where prior effort was made to ensure our electric warming blanket was switched on. A great touch to bear with the wintery cold of Ermelo. The overall eclectic ambiance and art gallery setting of the overall establishment compliments eachother extremely well. Definitely a place worth visiting, and definitely a place i will call home from now on when in Ermelo. Kudos to the hosts for making our stay unforgettable. Thanks!

I just stayed for one night, to split up a long travel day. But what a wonderful place. After a long day on busses I was welcomed in the best possible way. The owners are incredible nice. I also had dinner there, which was very good! You should definitely stay here when in Ermelo.

We stayed here +/- 14 years ago when the current Chef / Owner had the place for only 2 years. The accommodation and food impressed 14 years ago and is really impressed with the extensions, the room and look forward to tonight's food. We did arrange when booking that our dog will be with us and they were really accommodating
