Loved it!! Quirky and creatively decorated, filled with interesting art and beautiful furniture. The rooms are all perfectly decorated. The Mozart room is romantic, with a fabulous bathroom. Supremely comfortable beds with fine linen. Manie's gourmet dinner is not to be missed! its a truly special place, for a romantic break, or just to get away to a magical place.

The mystique, intrigue, history and story behind this hidden little gem in Graskop is truly worth a visit. Rich in beautiful artwork, antique furniture, and bedrooms steeped in rich colors, furnishings and of course comfort. This is not a child friendly place, it is a romantic getaway with a difference. Built to replicate a medieval castle - you truly are transported to a bygone Era. The establishment offers only double beds in each suite with the Ruby being the most sort after with its own private heated indoor splash pool. You need to book this suite weeks in advance but oh so worth it. Breakfast is excellent. Views extraordinary and ambiance soul soothing with hosts equally lovely.

What an amazing weekend. We had such an awesome time!!! Excellent food, vibe, room, friendly service...total pleasant host. Manie is an amazing interesting person. The hotel is something unique and different. Full of artwork and capturing items. We absolutely loved it. We got engaged at the castle. Not only going back for sure...but want to get married there. We had such a fun time in the Ruby Royal. We also enjoyed a 5 course meal in the suite it was absolutely YUMMY and so special. Romantics dream venue.

What a breathtaking place to stay and experience! The architecture, decor, antiques and gardens are to be seen to be believed! A real step back in time, with such attention to detail. And Eduardo & Willem are the consummate hosts, so wonderful & welcoming! What a glorious experience, I will be back!!
