Quiet and peaceful gem The Lodge is very quiet, and it provides you with the best peaceful getaway holiday spot in Hazyview. The dam view room is awesome, clean and spacious. The staff is friendly and very welcoming. It is truly a 4 star gem of Lowveld. Their food is too delicious.

What should have been a memorable celebration became a regrettable experience.Our concerns were dismissed initially, and meaningful action was only taken after we insisted. Instead of taking responsibility, excuses were offered. Good hospitality is measured by how guests are treated when something goes wrong, and on that measure, this lodge failed us. I left deeply disappointed and would not recommend it based on my experience.

I left the umbhaba eco lodge yesterday as part of a 3 night safari stay. This accommodation was booked for me and I cant describe in words how wonderful the lodge, the rooms and the staff were. Despite being busy they took time to get to know me and my preferences, they always had a smile on their faces when I went in for a meal and were so happy to answer any questions! I honestly cant thank everyone there enough. I will be back!

Great cozy hotel. This place is amazing, great friendly staff with amazing views. Has a pool with several sitting areas around. Rooms are beautiful and big nice bathroom and a cozy terrace. Will definitely recommend this place
