It was delightful to find this restaurant at sorry notice to celebrate 2023 New Year's Day!
Very lovely restaurant that is clean and has ample sitting inside and outside. You can see some animals grazing/browsing outside the restaurant.
It is always empty/less occupied. So getting a table or several is always possible. The only problem is that they seem to take a bit long with orders. But then we were 15 people and they wanted to serve all of us at the same time.
The food was very delicious 😋 didn't get to take any photos because we waited 1 hour 40 minutes to get our food and by the time it arrived we just wanted to feast away. I had the best spare ribs and chips I have ever had from anywhere! 🤞🏾 Most of the dishes seem to be well made and the portions are very generous 👌🏾
The staff are very friendly and attentive. They got everything right for 15 people 👌🏾🙌🏾 they went beyond with our requests.
The only downside is that you have to pay an entrance fee to enter Manyeleti and access the restaurant. I don't know why restaurant patrons cannot enter for free!!! That way it would not always be empty. R55 for SA adults and R25 for SA children. Add R5 extra to SA prices for SADC and then R110 and R50 for adults and children from elsewhere.

The place has the potential to become such a hot spot in the middle of the wilderness.
The food and service was unfortunately very underwhelming. Such a pity as I ate here before and the experience then was much different & such great value for money.

If you’re only a day visitor, you have to pay for the reservate entrance at the gate. The food is incredibly good and definitely worth the drive to the main camp from outside!
