Worst bed ever. Bed bugs and dust mites caused me to itch the entire night. At midnight I considered sleeping in the car rather. The bathroom is so dirty, after showering I felt the need to sanitizer my hands and feet. I can safely say id never go back until all facilities are upgraded. The place at the moment is a demolition site, and SHOULD NOT BE OPEN FOR BUSINESS. The staff however were friendly :)

The rooms were still okay. A bit cold, even for me. The service was not great... under new management and ownership. They are currently busy constructing so food was delivered to your room for breakfast. The options are still okay but not as great as it used to be. Will have to see once the Constructions are done.

What an amazing place this is. The main building and the grounds are just beautiful. The one-bedroom suite was spacious with parking just in front of it. It was a shame it was raining so I couldn't fully enjoy everything this place has to offer. The owners Betty and Bob as are so kind and hospitable. I arrived around lunchtime and they offered to make me a ham/cheese toasty which was great. Breakfast was good. The lodge is located across from a petrol station which is a bit noisy but it didn't bother me.

This is a wonderful place to stay, and the owners, Betty and Bob, are exceptionally kind and hospitable. We arrived without a reservation at 6 p.m. and were in our room within five minutes. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast is delicious, and everything is clean and cozy. We were traveling from Kruger to St Lucia and found this spot ideal for a stopover. While the location is perfect for a brief stay, the surrounding neighborhood doesn't offer much in terms of attractions, as it's somewhat underdeveloped and not particularly inviting. However, it's excellent for a quick stop.
