We had an amazing experience during our visit to South Africa. After a long and hectic day, we arrived much later than expected and on very short notice, but everything was handled flawlessly. The hosts and staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful from the moment we arrived. The property itself was beautiful, peaceful, and exceptionally well maintained. The atmosphere was so relaxing that it truly felt like a little piece of heaven. We are grateful for the warm hospitality and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting South Africa. We look forward to coming back again.

The cutest lady I have ever seen! The entire accommodation is very pretty and ensures relaxation and a break from the world. We felt like home in a second 🥰

We received a very friendly welcome. The rooms, or rather, the cottages, are spacious and fully equipped. The cottage had a lovely terrace with a peaceful view. The entire stay was very relaxing. On the property, you can take various walks, play mini golf, and swim. There is literally nothing in the area, the center of Piet Retief itself is still 45 minutes away. There is a deli onsite, that’s sells deep frozen homemade meals. We ate out for two weeks in a row already, being able to heat this in the oven, was very nice. It tasted delicious, and healthy. The next day, when we were six hours away already, we’ve noticed we still had our room key. We phoned Dusk to Dawn, and they have been looking for it all day (we’re so sorry!) But all we had to do was to ask our next host to send it back to them. So, we did, and we assume the key got back to where it belongs.

We stayed for one night at Dusk to Dawn and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing environment. The homemade ice cream and breakfast were exceptional, and a walk on the farm added to the experience. Gudrun was an excellent host.
