Don’t be fooled by this! What an incredible place, we had lunch here and it was more than worth it. I had a specific spot in Harties that serves nice burgers. However I just found my new burger spot! Fresh buns, juicy patties and crispy fries this definitely took my number one spot to come and enjoy delicious burgers. Looking for incredible food and views, this is a must visit.

We recently hosted our art retreat at Oxwagon Lodge, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The oxwagons themselves are beautiful, clean, and incredibly comfortable — we all slept so well! The setting has a lovely rustic charm, yet everything is always neat and well maintained. The food is truly exceptional — absolutely to die for. Everything is homemade and prepared in-house, with generous portions. From breakfast to dinner (and even desserts), every single meal was delicious, and we were always well taken care of. The team was also very accommodating in providing us with space and tables for our art activities, which made the retreat run so smoothly. A very special thank you to René for managing everything so effortlessly and going above and beyond to ensure everyone had an amazing experience. To the kitchen staff — thank you for the consistently incredible meals. Daniel at the bar was fantastic, always attentive and making sure everyone was looked after. And thank you to Mark for having us at your lodge — the ladies had an unforgettable experience! Highly recommended, and we will definitely be back.

We celebrated Valentine’s Day at Oxwagon Lodge and what an absolutely wonderful experience it was! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine hospitality. Every little detail was thoughtfully arranged, which made the atmosphere feel romantic, and truly special. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without ever feeling overwhelming. You can truly see the care and passion that goes into creating such a lovely experience.
