AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This was without question the worst “4-star” hotel I have ever stayed at. The property is in desperate need of maintenance and general upkeep. The gardens are virtually non-existent, the pool was dirty, and the hallways were dark, gloomy, and oddly decorated with a random standing fan in the passage as though the management simply gave up halfway through renovations. The room itself was even worse. The iron did not work, there was no “Do Not Disturb” sign, the pillows were uncomfortably hard, and the curtains could not fully close. The window frame in the shower is made out of wood and due to the water it is clear that it is disintegrating at an alarming rate. The absolute worst part, however, was the unbearable smell in the room. A combination of damp carpet, humidity, and stale sweat that made the entire stay deeply unpleasant. Truly revolting. Breakfast was no better. The pastries and confectioneries were clearly not fresh and tasted as though they had been sitting out for days. Rock hard and completely inedible. This establishment is nowhere near 4-star standard and I would strongly advise others to stay elsewhere.

Although not as it used to be prior the unfortunate blaze, it is still a great place to go if you’re looking a quite time with friends/loved one, great for smaller en bigger group gatherings. The staff is friendly and always welcome guests with a smile on their face. Is it well maintained, security is up to standard. The restaurant is also great for a quick bite or for a sit down meal with reasonable prices. Complements to the chef(great job). An all round place to relaxation away from the busyness of the small town. Always enjoy my time here

We didn’t have a booking, but we were warmly welcomed. The service from our waiter was excellent. However, the changing of waiters can be a bit confusing at times—while I don’t recommend it, the service remained great nonetheless. We waited quite a while for our food, but the chef personally apologized, explaining that the queen prawns took longer to prepare. I do wish they offered more sauce options for those who are lactose intolerant. As for the dessert, it was exceptional—worthy of a Michelin star (the chef will understand). One note: please reduce the waiting time or at least inform us upfront how long the food will take. Overall, thank you for the experience!

I came to Palmetto restaurant to enjoy a birthday solo date and I waited for 30 min with no service. They did not care at all, another customer had to call the waiter for me and when I complained about their service the waiter was not remorseful. I would not recommend coming here if you don't want your day ruined. 💔Very disappointed
