We hosted a birthday celebration for 75 guests at Mokajalo Opstal, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The venue is very spacious, modern, and well laid out, making it ideal for hosting larger private events. It comfortably accommodated our guests and created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the day. We arranged our own catering, which the venue supported without any issues. The facilities and layout made catering logistics straightforward and efficient. The hostess was exceptionally professional, assisting us throughout the planning phase and remaining hands-on during the event itself. Her support, responsiveness, and attention to detail made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Overall, Mokajalo Opstal is a well-managed, versatile venue that we would confidently recommend for birthdays, family functions, and private celebrations.

Simply amazing 👏 the atmosphere was the best with all the plants and little details. There is so much little detail, loved it! Everything is unique and the food was delicious. Well done to the staff for your hard work and attention. Will definitely visit again.

Makojalo has a old farm feel but with a modern twist to it. The staff is amazing and very helpful. Amazing wedding venue. Very accommodating and professional. You can either sleep in the guest house or tents (located further in on the game farm). Food is good. Perfect for romantic getaway. Also accommodate business conferences. Rooms: double bed rooms. King size beds. Three quarter beds. All with on-sweet bathrooms and doors leading out to the garden. Amazing wild animals and game drives. Truly recommend to anybody who just needs a break.

I stayed at Makojalo Op-Stal for 10 days while competing in the World Shoot Championship, and it turned out to be the perfect choice for my stay. From the very first day, I felt genuinely welcomed. The calm and natural atmosphere on the farm allowed me to relax and recharge between competition days. The accommodation was both comfortable and cozy, with charming details that fit perfectly into the rural surroundings. Everything felt well thought-out and carefully arranged, giving me a safe and peaceful base during the championship. What I appreciated most about Makojalo Op-Stal was the combination of tranquility, closeness to nature, and the warm sense of community. It made my stay about so much more than just the competition – it became a complete experience that I will remember for a long time.
