Nestled in the Southern foothills of the Magalies Mountain, surrounded by dense bush, lies Kareekloof Game Farm. It is host to a variety of functions and offers many activities to make your function unique. The beauty of 1400ha of veld, and the cry of jackals as the sky darkens in an African sunset, makes any function memorable. Office parties, family reunions, birthday parties, engagement parties – any occasion will be custom made. Weddings, conferences, competitions, courses, and bosberaad meetings have been successfully held at Kareekloof Game Farm. Our lodging facilities offers either fully equipped self-catering chalets or B&B services in our comfortable guest rooms. Self-Catering Chalets Rooms for travelers Country Wedding Venue Conferences Workshops and Demonstrations Family Reunions School Reunions Hall to rent for Parties. What an awesome place to stay. We did not want to leave after our three day stay here, but unfortunately the city was calling. Peaceful and relaxing is but a few words that comes to mind. Such a serene place. Thank you Annalize we will see you again in the future. There are no TV’s in the rooms. This is our contribution to our guests to take a break from digital devices and spend quality time together. This area teems with wildlife, with most mammals thriving here. Natural predators including leopard, brown hyena, caracal, serval, etc. are spotted regularly. Loved it. Very nice and friendly people. You really feel the nature and the true bushveld experience!

An absolute gem not far from Joburg and Pretoria! Stunning surroundings, amazing wildlife, and the kindest, most helpful hosts you could ask for. Their passion for conservation really shines through, and all meat is respectfully processed on site. Whether camping or staying in a room, it’s peaceful, well-run, and unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Loved it there. Peace and quiet no cellphone reception gr8 escape for relaxation. Gravel road to the place turning off from main road not so good f small little cars especially when it rains. Owner is fruendky and helpful.

1.)This is the best place for tech people to unplug. 2.) The owners go the extra mile for their guests. 3.) There is privacy and safety. 4.) Beautiful veld. 5.) Wonderful driving experience on rainy days!! 6.) The staff is so friendly. 7.) Well equipped kitchen. We were treated very well, and the staff is so lovely and friendly. The owners and staff are amazing. Note that phone reception is an issue. Going there and meeting the owners and staff was a blessing.
