Enjoyed our stay at Sun City, the hotel accommodation was neat, spacious with modern furnishings and tea/coffee station. The Valley of the Waves is a beautiful experience for the entire family. There's fun to be had by all age groups.

Did not stay at the hotel, it will be unforeseen to comment. Stayed at vacation Club which was exceptional and convenient with restaurants,pool and convenience store, however we visited the Hotel for the Casino. Transport to and from Vac.Club to Hotel and vice versa was a disaster. I saw elderly people and disabled people wait for long periods outside the Hotel, in the freezing cold to be transported back to V.C. At the same time several transports arrived for guests at other accommodations like Palace and Lefika, when questioned the response was there was one transport for Vacation Club, the largest accommodations and guests and several for the others. It was clear that the Vacation Club and guests are on the bottom of the Totam Pool.

I stayed in the revamped hotel and were seriously disappointed. For the price (R7k per night) is lacking in many crucial aspects. 1. Never heard back from manager even though I requested it three times. Shows the level of care. 2. Internet speed is very slow. Unheard of in this age. 3. Gym is not a gym, it's couple of treadmills and equipment in a storage room (no view, fans and hotel carpet?!?!). Furthermore wanting to charge staying guests R 80 a visit. 4. TV has NO channels, sport or anything to watch. You can log in with your own Netflix account. Due to slow internet speed the quality is not fast. 5. The family rooms extra beds were not made up as requested. 6. Views were really marred by the reconstruction. It's a great hotel and venue, but the lack of caring and the price makes this quite the ripoff.

Would give zero stars for service and cleanliness! Waited over 30mins for just two poached eggs at breakfast. Housekeeping attitude and service is the worst I have ever experienced! Day 1 cleaning was good. Day 2 was shocking! Used glasses and coffee cups were not washed and just left dirty exactly where we put them. Towels were not replenished accordingly and were just dumped in a pile in the bathroom. Soap was not replenished. The carpet in the rooms is actually disgustingly dirty! My 1 year old was crawling around the room only to find his feet and knees had gone black with dirt! Gross! Called Housekeeping to tell them about the poor cleaning service, I was met with a don't care attitude. Asked for a bath towel since ours were not replaced, 2 calls to Housekeeping and 1 VERY angry call made to reception...my bath towel finally arrived ONE HOUR LATER!! Absolutely appalling and pathetic service for a so-called "4 star" establishment. Rather stay at one of the other hotels and keep your sanity.
