Well worth the visit. Depending on the room you choose views can be great. Weddings held away from rooms. Spa was great. Game drive average but the giraffes where a treat, game rangers kept it interesting. Predators camp only if u dont mind animals in cages, we preferred not to see them in limited space environments. Restaurant was great, expect that its open to public that can desturb the tranquil atmosfeer. Food was great, limited options but great. It is a working Game lodge and they are building so just make sure..might have trucks and workers being busy. We stayed close to Predators camp and heard the lion allot..can be a treat to hear. All in all a well built well maintained high end 4star feel will great staff..will come again but stay in Suites to experience the best they can offer, book in advance not to be disappointed. Was a enjoyable stay even if we did only book last moment and get a far en back room, good enough for a 2 night stay and out enjoying activities. Thank you Bona Bona.

I went for a game drive with my family, I did not know it does not include all animals as there is not description of the packages. But the overall drive was chilled and we were driven by such a wonderful lady, who knows her story. We grabbed lunch at their stunning restaurant and the service was amazing but the food. Do not order their chicken curry, it is nothing close to chicken curry meals typically served in restaurants. it is just fried chicken and basmati rice, no trace of curry whatsoever.

We had the full Bona Bona experience. We arrived on Friday and checked in, had drinks and supper at the restaurant, and stayed in a chalet. On Saturday morning we had breakfast at the restaurant and then had a spa treatment. After the spa treatment we went for a game drive and the predator experience. I have different experiences from each part of the weekend: The rooms are lovely, very neat and welcoming. The spa is breathtaking as well. Incredible service from the staff creating an organised yet calm and relaxing atmosphere. The game drive with ranger Luke was world class. He shares his passion for the wildlife with so much knowledge. All in all our experience at Bona Bona was would’ve been great if it weren’t for the poor service in the restaurant. You walk in and have to see yourself to a table and then call someone to come and take your order. The food was average. When raising an issue with the staff they act with very little interest and concern. The restaurant made the whole Bona Bona experience a bit sour as everything else exceeded our high expectations, having heard such great things about Bona Bona. I will definitely be going back for the other experiences, but not to eat or drink anything at the restaurant.

We attended a wedding at Bona Bona and spent 2 nights there. We stayed at the Bush Camp, which is a great option when visiting with a group of friends or family. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We also went on a game drive, which I absolutely recommend. The guide is very knowledgeable and shares interesting information. The Restaurant's breakfast buffet and pizzas were also nice. Overall a lovely experience!
