We camped there during flower season. (I used the 'rooms' to review the stand). Campers are packed in bumper to bumper. If you stand next to a group you'll inadvertently listen in on all their conversations. Some stands are level. Not sure if all the stands have water and electricity, but in the area where we were every stand did. Appreciated the outside drain in which to empty chemical toilet. No hot water late afternoon for shower. Shower water runs out of the stalls into the passageway and you are provided a mop and bucket to dry it up. Washing machine wasn't available during our stay. Communial microwave and kettle available. Beware it is a petfriendly campsite, so stay elsewhere if you don't like dogs.

We thoroughly enjoyed the comfort and space of "Tillie se Huis". Although small LED strips in each room are the only "electricity", we did not miss "Eskom" one bit. Fridge, stove and geysers are all gas, and all works very well. There are also ample lanterns and candles. With it being a bit windy the one evening, we could comfortably enjoy our braai inside in the braai room, and many a long conversation were had around the round table in the kitchen. Three spacious bathrooms serves the 3 big bedrooms very well. The natural beauty on and around Verbe farm are next level. It really is a very special environment, and one can easily get lost in its beauty for a week or more. Don't rush your stay on this farm.

We had a wonderful time staying at Verbe farm during our trip to Namaqualand. The house is beautiful and rustic, with a huge outside fire pit to braai in. The bedrooms are spacious. Behind the house are huge fields full of flowers to explore and photograph. Highly recommended!

A lovely stone cottage off the beaten track. Well equipped. Very friendly host. I would however not recommend a stay in December. The cottage was quite hot and there was a serious problem with flies at the time of our stay. Opening the windows invites the mosquitoes in. There is a however a net available over the bed. Would love to do this again, but definitely in the cooler months. The normal sized double bed was also a little small for us that are used to our king size extra long bed (we are quite tall)
