About Ou Skool Guest House

Ou Skool Guesthouse is a convenient stop-over or holiday base for tourists, nature lovers, businessmen and travellers alike on the route to the Kalahari, Augrabies Falls, Riemvasmaak, Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park and the West Coast.

Set amongst luscious vineyards in the heart of the Northern Cape, our stylish decorated establishment guarantees a comfortable stay. Ou Skool Guest House is situated just 5km outside of Keimoes en route to Kenhardt. We offer a range of accommodation that includes a choice of 10 bedrooms. The rooms are equipped with individually remote controlled air-conditioning, TV with eight channels, en suite bath or shower and coffee/tea facilities and a bar fridge. Please see the individual room descriptions with photographs below, to assist you with your choice. Full English breakfast (cereal, yogurt, fruit, two rashers of bacon, two sausages, two eggs, toast and coffee / tea / juice), or continental breakfast (toast and coffee / tea / juice). Dinner available on request and need to be booked prior to arrival you have a choice between a one course or a two course meal. Ouskool Guest House is a little paradise for tired, exhausted bones. From the warm welcome at reception to the well‑maintained rooms, everything was a pleasure. Hot water and water pressure were excellent. The picturesque gardens are beautifully kept and add to the peaceful atmosphere. We enjoyed a lovely dinner and a delicious breakfast. They can also accommodate a limited number of campers in their amazing garden area, with braai facilities and electricity. Highly recommended.

Our second visit for overnight stops. Old school amongst vineyards with classrooms cleverly converted to lovely spacious rooms. The courtyard and tranquil gardens and fountains create a peaceful setting for a good rest stop WiFi a bit slow and intermittent.
