Wow what can I say. We originally booked at Bains House but due to issues they had they upgraded us for free to one of their other properties. On the way to Upington we ran out of petrol 24km before the town. I messaged the manager who immediately responded. An hour later he brought us petrol and drove with us to make sure we made it safe. Fantastic service! Beautiful accommodation. Would most definitely stay with them again.

Had a pleasant stay and nights rest. The breakfast was delicious. Parking was safe. The swimming pool albyt needs to be cleaned for humans to swim in.

The owner was friendly and accommodating, especially since we arrived after midnight due to a car breakdown. However, he insisted that we whisper so as not to disturb other guests, which made communication difficult—I couldn’t hear a word he was saying. The accommodation had a few shortcomings: the kettle was rusted, there were only two cups and no glasses, even though we were a group of four. The TV was only in the double bedroom, which left my daughters disappointed as they had no TV to watch in their room. On a positive note, my youngest daughter really enjoyed the history book about the Bains Family—it was a lovely and educational touch.

Friendly Staff! Place is neat, calm atmosphere! We really enjoyd our stay.
