I checked in here on the 26 June and was given the best chalet. It's a very nice quiet place although somehow hostile. How do you expect guests to not use air-con throughout the night in WINTER? And breakfast was not that great too.

What a wonderful experience. It feels like home away from home. I struggled with wi-fi connection and that was about the only inconvenience I experienced. The room and cleaning crew did amazing work. Everytime we entered our chalet it was clean and tidy. The atmosphere was amazing. Even the other guests that was there collaborated together in great evenings spent together. Truly a remarkable place

Amazing place with equally amazing people – from the owners to all the staff. The property is beautifully maintained, and the rooms are spotless. I really enjoyed the braai facilities at the chalets (having a great butchery right next door with top-quality cuts was a bonus!). I stayed for 6 nights on a business trip and can highly recommend Country Lodge, Upington for both business and leisure stays. I’ll definitely be back. A big thank you to Johnny and Nicolene for the warm welcome, the great conversations around the fire, and for making the stay feel so special.
