We had a wonderful stay at Oranjerus River Resort Campsite for two nights. The location right on the Orange River is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Falling asleep in our tent to the sound of the river flowing was one of the highlights of our stay. We also loved seeing the odd monkeys around the campsite. The campsite was clean, and the braai area overlooking the river was fantastic - perfect for relaxing and enjoying sundowners. Having the restaurant next to the campsite was also very convenient, and we really enjoyed our dinner there. A special thank you to Johan at the convenience shop, who was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had a fantastic experience from start to finish and hope to return again one day. Highly recommended!

We were treated so well by Johan. The resort is beautiful and so well kept. Because we r older and i have a few health issues Johan gave us a private ablution and sent us 2 sandwiches at 7pm. How amazing is that. The care and attention was brilliant. The best we have so far throughout our trip t Botswana, Namibia and back into SA.

Stayed over at Oranjerus after a 6 week trip to Namibia and Kgalagadi. Last time I visited was before NC Famous Lodges had taken over Oranjerus and wow, wow, wow👌. I could not recognize the place. A complete transition had taken place. We were allocated a site on the front with a view of the river which comes with a private ablution. It was the perfect stopover before heading back to Cape Town and can highly recommend Oranjerus if you are visiting the Kgalagadi. (or looking to spend a couple of days on the Orange) The restaurant has also been upgraded and we enjoyed a pizza on the deck whilst watching the sun set over the Orange River. The staff were amazing and even got a complementary "braai broodjie" each when setting up camp 😋. Oranjerus will unquestionably be our stopover for next year's Kgalagadi visit!

Beautiful, neat, friendly service and lovely singer at the entrance gate! The shower overflows and the warm water tap didn’t work - which was less nice.. but they quickly moved us to another room, thank you for the amazing service! Also enjoyed the clean swimming pool and the cocktails next to the river.
