We had a wonderful stay at River Manor. The rooms were beautifully maintained, comfortable, and full of charm, creating a relaxing atmosphere from the moment I arrived. The staff were warm and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The peaceful setting and attention to detail really stood out, making it a perfect place to unwind. Great location next to the mighty Orange River. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Upington.

Well worth the stay, especially after leaving the Kgalagadi. On both occasions that we stayed at this beautiful establishment, River Place Manor has not disappointed us. The beautiful view from the rooms, beautiful garden overlooking the river, wonderful breakfast and divine food in the restaurant, are just a few things to commend them on. Morné is a gracious host, supplying us with transportation to wherever we needed to go, as well as allowing us to leave our trailer for the few days when we were booked at another venue. Thank you Morné, for your hospitality and to River Place Manor for it’s exceptional venue.

Courtney thank you for the warm welcome and making my birthday special. I really enjoyed my stay. The only problem I had was of the towels,can cleaners report towels that are old or not in good condition. Overall I would definitely recommend the place is a must go to. Very beautiful and definitely coming back in summer.

River Manor Lodge is an absolute gem in Upington. Fantastic views, great rooms, super service, well located, great food all right on the Orange river with birds and fisj that can be seen and heard and to top it off, I spotted and heard a Fish Eagle. Fantastic place to come an unwind
