We visited Orange River Rafting Lodge by Country Hotels for the rafting adventure, and it was fantastic! The guides were professional, friendly, and made the trip safe and enjoyable. The river itself is beautiful, and the location of the lodge right on the Orange River makes the whole experience even more special. After rafting, we had a meal at the lodge, and the food was excellent—fresh, tasty, and just what we needed after the adventure. Even though we didn’t stay overnight, the atmosphere and setting were wonderful. I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun outdoor activity combined with good food and a stunning location.

It was absolutely what we expected and more, the peace, serenity, wonderful service from management and staff. The kids had great fun, we had wonderful quiet time and all round enjoyable and memorable for all, thank you very much!

I was camping this making use of the camping facilities. The camping area was not clean at all, even the braai was still full of old ash from the previous user. The out side basin was also very dirty. The communal bathing area was average. The place definitely needs a proper upgrade compared to other campsites I’ve been to on my 2 week vacation. The view of the campsite was amazing.

Fantastic Stay! Vaughn and Tania is super friendly and helpful as are all the other staff members. We camped for 5 nights and had a beautiful stay! We only had 2 nights of noisy camp neighbors which Vaughn responded to very quickly. My Suggestion would be to have a NO MUSIC policy as nature should be the focus point here. We saw many bird species and had to owls sleeping in the tree above our camp. When it was quiet at night we could hear them, incredibly special! We would definitely be back. Fishing was also great :) Thank you for making our stay memorable!
