Very old fashioned hotel, brought back lots of childhood 70s memory's

The staff are generally friendly and helpful. I enjoyed them. They are doing what they can with what they have. The same cannot be said for the rooms. Rooms are hot with no air conditioning. No little fridges to keep cold drinks or food. So it is not practical for any stay longer than a night or so. The price definitely did not match the accommodation. On average not the worst place to stay. But there are definitely better options at better rates.

I give the hotel a 5star rating based on my recent visit in December at the Victoria Hotel in Bredasdorp was truly exceptional. What sets The Victoria Hotel apart is the thoughtful on-site vehicle cleaning service, set by the owners during business hours. This hotel pleasantly surprised me. The building is old but went entering into the rooms it was renovated with a new bathroom. It is very clean and comfortable. Providing a heater in the cold. White bedding and a tv with a few channels. Breakfast is delicious and staff is very friendly. The negatives are the noise of the wooden floors, the very small cups in the rooms and the fact that there was no real coffee for breakfast only instant ricoffee. Will recommend this hotel to anyone.
