Great service, fabulous food and just a ridiculously good cake to round off lunch. We were a group of 14 adventure bikers, we were warmly welcomed and accommodated. Everyone left with full bellies and big smiles.

Accommodation was comfortable, and good value for money. We were in the annex - has a bit of a 'backyard' outlook. Host was friendly and welcoming. We were disappointed that we didn't get breakfast - the reviews rated it highly - he had given his staff the day off, which is fine, but he only told us after we'd paid in full and didn't give us a discount. We think he could have done better here. Best check this before you book. Otherwise a nice place.

Lunch at the Dorpshuis is always great event. Service by Inigma was top class and the personal attendance by management / chef on our meals a pleasant surprise. Sitting on the street stoep with the churchbell chiming the time away added to excellent ambience.

Best filet and lamb shank we have ever eaten! Lovely chef came to check if everything was up to standard. Veg nice and crispy and very nice mash. Fully recommend them.
