It's been my second time to Blowfish, and this time around the food was really great however not entirely to my liking but nonetheless it was great. I will come back for their sushi as it's really more of their strong suits. Ultimately it's a great place especially for big families and very in love couples as the sea view is quite something

I travel frequently around the world and this time we are travelling between Johannesburg and Cape Town. I’m usually very careful when choosing restaurants, and I never experience any stomach issues because of that. That’s why I was very excited to visit this restaurant. The location and atmosphere are absolutely stunning — beautiful mountain views, with people paragliding across the sky, creating an unforgettable setting. It honestly has one of the best scenic views I’ve experienced. Unfortunately, the food hygiene was very disappointing. A few hours after eating, I experienced diarrhoea. I ordered the “Apricot Korma Line Fish” with green salad, and I strongly suspect there may have been cross-contamination between the seafood preparation area and where the vegetables/salads were cleaned. I could actually taste fish scales on the cherry tomatoes in my salad, which was quite unpleasant and concerning. It’s a shame because the venue itself is amazing and has so much potential, but food hygiene and food handling standards seriously need improvement.

The food at blowfish is amazing. I has the seared tuna and my Fiancé had the Thai green curry. Both dishes were amazing. The mussle starter was also well worth it. We really enjoyed our visit and enjoyed the food!
