We played Stellenbosch, Arabella, Pearl Valley, De Zalze, Milnerton and Clovelly over the course of 15 days. Clovelly was our last course and probably the best one of all of them. Maybe it’s due to perfect weather and great course condition. We enjoyed playing all of them but this year, Clovelly received 5* from all my Austrian guests. 👏👏👏

Beautiful course, but the runoff from this course into the wetlands is terrible (black and smells like sewage) - most don’t notice nor see this. The chemicals used to keep the grass green and the weeds at bay is excessive and NOT environmentally friendly, this is obvious by the runoff. The sprinklers spray very often and also onto walkways and pavement, showing how much clean water is wasted. I highly recommend that the management of this course reduce their environmental impact by reducing pesticide use, fertilizers, nitrates, etc. and moving to environmentally friendly alternatives as well as fixing sprinklers and reducing water use!

Absolutely great setting and a must in Cape Town. Pro shop ok but simple, not cheap. Half time snack area is brilliant - thanks to the staff. The course is immaculate and well manicured. Thoroughly enjoyed it !

A truly fantastic golfing experience. Where else can you play between mountains and dunes with only the sound of birds and nature in the background??. No cars, trains, aeroplanes or sirens going off. And then after your on course experience, to sit on the upstairs verandah after your game sipping on your favourite tipple with a view of the sea in one direction and a sunset in the other.?? Only at Clovelly Golf Club. A little piece of paradise south of Cape Town.
