What a magical stay! The house, the amenities, vegetable/fruit garden, the lake… was excellent! Location is perfect - 5 mins to the town’s restaurants, stores, top wineries, and local markets. Tracey and the team were responsive and proactive, making the move in/out so easy! Fantastic for entertaining family and friends. Highly recommended!

Farm Lorraine was a truly magical location and experience. Our hostess was very friendly and accommodating and provided us with plenty of tips to help our stay in Franschhoek prove memorable. The beauty of this farm is incredible and is accentuated by the sights and scents of a magnificent landscape filled with floral and vegetable gardens, walking paths, and lakes. The cottage was absolutely beautiful and attention to detail quite evident. We thoroughly enjoyed our "welcome basket" filled with fresh fruits, nuts and chocolates and a beautiful vase adorned with fresh flowers from the garden. Our cottage was spotless and filled with plenty of amenities to complete our stay. We had plenty of space to enjoy time together and on our own. It was a plus to have our own porch for relaxing and separate bathrooms as well. We felt very safe and comfortable with our surroundings - an overall amazing stay. Our stay at the cottage was an absolute treat. Tracey is a wonderful host, and Farm Lorraine is nothing short of a masterpiece. You feel as though you’re being whisked into a storybook as you drive through the gate, surrounded by colors and flowers at every turn. As you explore the property, you’ll catch the sweetest scents around every corner and find yourself in awe of the picturesque surroundings. At night, the stars shine brightly, covering the garden in the loveliest glow of moonlight. The space in our cottage was cozy and tastefully decorated. We had every amenity imaginable, and the attention to detail was truly remarkable. Tucked perfectly into the mountains, your heart skips a beat as you step outside - you feel present in the beauty of the world around you. Tracey was lovely to communicate with and her hard work does not go unnoticed. If you’re seeking the most idyllic experience in Franschhoek, don’t hesitate to book at Farm Lorraine - I know we’d be honored to return one day 💐

Beautiful farm, amazing host, but the experience we had just ruined everything! Unfortunately we were robbed very badly! 4 robbers entered our home! Not sure how as we were sure all windows and doors have been locked! They Frightened my family and I! And literally robbed everything! So far this is the most terrifying thing that happened in my life, and the last thing I would have ever expected! It was our first stay, we were given the house keys and not informed about the safety alarm which was not even working until the next day after the incident. Poor security system unfortunately!
