About Hout Bay Manor

This octagonal shaped Room was created and designed in beautiful greys and creams as the owner/designer wanted the people and the food in the room to create the colour, she wanted to create that perfect palette that you are the shining stars in the room.

This venue also hosts a magnificently hand crafted spiral chandelier which draws your eye up to what is a glassed and panelled ceiling. During the day one can see the beautiful blue skies and one of our trees, and the mirrors, especially at night reflects back the room, the people and festivities which plays wonderfully with the light in the room. This venue has its own entrance down a beautiful, cobbled stone walk way covered in white bougainvillea, it also has its own restrooms.As you know we are a 4 Star Boutique Hotel, we have 16 rooms and offer our guests who stay a warm, professional, personalised, friendly and unique experience, our rooms have been beautifully designed with en-suite bathrooms that have brass showers and tap fittings giving one a real sense of history. Used to be my favourite breakfast. Now using really bad ingredients and is some of the most awful kids camp esque food I’ve ever seen. Not to mention taking 2 hours for anything to arrive. Shocking service and food seems to be the general sentiment amongst friend and family. Won’t go again - such a shame.

We had the pleasure of visiting this hotel several times for both breakfast and dinner, and each experience was nothing short of exceptional. The food is absolutely delicious and of the highest quality, with every dish prepared to perfection. The staff are extraordinarily friendly and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make us feel at home. They even provided a high chair for our little one, showing how attentive and family-friendly the service is. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the interior design is both elegant and aesthetically pleasing. Dining here is truly a feast for both the palate and the eyes. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a memorable culinary experience in a beautiful setting with outstanding service!

Dissatisfied and disappointed. It feels like there’s been a real loss of interest in service. where’s the leadership, sense of hospitality? The staff show no sense of service or friendliness, they seem uninterested and completely lack personality. Not 4 star service. Breakfast on both days of our weekend break was a letdown: stale bread, dry croissants, and food so over-seasoned it was not enjoyable. Such a pity. #HoutBayManor #DisappointingStay #DoBetter
