I love the cozy atmosphere here. It's raining outside, but the fireplace crackling and the warm air make me feel great. I ordered the classic breakfast and a cocktail, it's the perfect way to start the day.

Online it shows they close at 11pm (everyday), but we were asked to leave at 10pm. It wasn’t all that busy, so our table ended up having 2 different waitresses - which felt a bit much. The visits to the table and questions were far too frequent, especially for a table of 2. We were trying to enjoy our conversation, our drinks, our food. But kept being interrupted. It’s not the waitress’ fault. But maybe something for management to cater to. Food was okay, definitely overpriced for the quality of food you get. Dessert wasn’t great - we ordered the tiramisu and the chocolate tort. Both tasted like they’d been standing there all day. Ambiance was good, except for loud chair scuffling and the staff starting to sweep and clean at 21:30. Could feel we were needing to hurry and leave. I don’t believe I’ll return, but hopefully things improve regardless.

I was super excited to try them, it's so pretty and had been on my bucket list for a long time, which made the disappointment even worse. What stood out most was the clear difference in service with the tables surrounding us (white guests) ( I am a person of colour). There were issues regarding my order which led to a back and forth of getting it right (incorrect dish and failed to follow instructions). The toasted marshmallow hot chocolate was also NOT toasted. Poor service can happen anywhere, but when it’s paired with such a visible difference in attentiveness, it leaves you questioning why. I left feeling really disappointed and unwelcome.

One of the nice settings in town! Really beautiful court yard. Nice that it’s dog friendly too! Scrambled eggs were a bit heavy on the onion, but everything else was delicious ! Great coffee too, and quick service! Zero complaints!
