Fabulous 21st hosted at La Cuccina. Perfect venue for function of 40 people. Guests all loved the food and the warm, cosy, charming atmosphere on the banks of Liesbeek River. Food absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We were so well looked after by catering and service team - top-draw. Cannot recommend this spot more highly.

Five stars for La Cuccina! We had our wedding here in February and it was flawless. Being in such a central location made everything so easy for our guests. A massive thank you to Kerry, who made sure everything went exactly to plan—we didn't have to worry about a thing. The staff were incredible; they were so friendly, attentive, and truly willing to help with absolutely anything we needed. The food was delicious and the atmosphere made for the best evening of our lives. Thank you La Cuccina - we would highly recommend to anyone!

La Cucina Café in Rondebosch is an absolute gem. This afternoon my friend and I popped in for coffee and cheesecake, and we were blown away by both the warm hospitality and the gorgeous setting. From the moment we arrived, the service was exemplary. The manager and our waitress were attentive without ever being intrusive, regularly checking in to see if we had everything we needed and making us feel genuinely welcome. It’s rare to experience this level of care and consistency, and it really made our visit a pleasant one. The cheesecake was delicious with just the right balance of richness and lightness, and it paired perfectly with our coffees. The venue itself is rustic yet contemporary, with lovely touches of greenery and trees that make it feel like you’ve stepped into a different world for a little while. There is comfortable seating both inside and outside, so whether you want a cosy corner or some fresh air, you’re covered. La Cucina Café has definitely become a new favourite for me, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great coffee, decadent cheesecake, and standout service in a beautiful, calming space.

Thank you Chanelle and to the staff whom I was in contact with when I came to discuss the cake for my mom's 80th birthday. The friendliness of the staff, made me feel like family. I ordered the Special Birthday Cake (Red Velvet), however there was a slight change and I received the Chocolate instead. A wonderful change. The cake totally blew us away. Wow!! The chocolate cake is divine!! The guests who ate loved the texture. I added my own bit of decoration as well. Now I need to taste the Red Velvet as well :) I rate the Special Birthday Cake 10 stars ********** :) One happy client and my mom as well.
