We have stayed at One&Only resorts in different countries, and the service here was truly exceptional. It felt like a genuine luxury experience, and we felt very welcomed throughout our stay. From the warm welcome and smooth check-in to the CC team who showed us around, breakfast staff, and the staff assisting with our car, everyone was genuinely kind, polite, and always smiling. Not to mention the safety and attention to details.

We absolutely loved our stay at One&Only Cape Town and cannot wait to come back again soon! From the moment we arrived, everything felt so thoughtful and luxurious. We were lucky enough to have a Table Mountain view and waking up every morning to that breathtaking sight was honestly unforgettable - such a magical way to start each day in Cape Town. What really made the stay extra special were all the thoughtful touches throughout the hotel, especially for families. The penguin backpacks for the kids were the sweetest surprise and our children were absolutely obsessed with them! The staff made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make the experience memorable for the whole family. The location is also perfect- being so close to the V&A Waterfront made everything incredibly convenient while still feeling peaceful and private inside the resort. The breakfast buffet was another highlight of our stay. So much variety, beautifully presented, and everything was absolutely delicious. It became one of our favourite parts of the day. For dinner, we had the pleasure of dining at both ROOI and Nobu - two completely different but equally beautiful experiences. ROOI felt quintessentially South African with incredible flavours and atmosphere, while Nobu was iconic as always and such a treat knowing it’s the only one in South Africa. Both restaurants were exceptional and added so much to our experience. Most importantly, our kids absolutely loved every moment of the stay, which made it even more special for us as a family. One&Only Cape Town truly delivered a world-class experience and we already cannot wait to return.

We stayed at the One&Only Cape Town for the first three days of our trip, and it was a wonderful way to begin our time in South Africa. The property is absolutely beautiful — elegant, peaceful, and very well maintained. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and consistently accommodating, which made us feel immediately at ease after a long journey. Breakfast each morning was excellent, with a great selection and high quality food that set us up perfectly for the day. One of the biggest highlights is the location. It felt very safe, and we loved being able to walk easily to the V&A Waterfront, which made exploring Cape Town incredibly convenient. Overall, it was a luxurious and comfortable stay in a perfect location. We would happily return and would highly recommend it as a starting point for anyone visiting Cape Town.

As a frequent luxury traveler who has stayed at several One&Only properties around the world, I was extremely disappointed with my experience at One&Only Cape Town. For this stay, I reserved two rooms—a Suite and a Marina Harbour King room. Given my loyalty to the brand and the significant amount spent on accommodations, I was surprised and disappointed by the lack of flexibility and recognition from management when I inquired about an upgrade. While I understand upgrades are subject to availability, the interaction left me feeling that guest loyalty and long-term relationships were secondary to maximizing revenue. Luxury hospitality is about more than beautiful facilities; it is about making guests feel valued and appreciated. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. The property itself is beautiful, but the service culture did not reflect the level of hospitality I have come to expect from the One&Only brand. I left feeling more like a transaction than a valued guest. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as there is a significant difference between providing accommodations and delivering a true luxury experience.
