Lovely stay for a few days. Pretty garden with beautiful views of the mountains. Karen was so helpful with our very last minute reservation.

I’ve stayed at Palmiet several times and it is a truly wonderful experience. Karen is the most caring and attentive host and the room provided is always comfortable; surrounded by a gorgeous garden and river. I always look forward to returning to Palmiet and relaxing in this serene location.

I stayed at Karen's studio for three weeks - it is wonderfully nestled in the middle of beautiful greenery. Karen was super friendly and proactive, any questions I had she answered happily and she made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. My personal highlight was the garden - so beautiful! You almost feel like you are in Kirstenbosch gardens! The kitchenette has everything you need, beds were comfortable and the private patio was great for breakfasts in the sun. I highly recommend this studio.

What an amazing experience, Karen allowed me to use the entire property to create a Weddinf Festival. From the Ceremony by the Disa river, the the reception on the great lawns. We also had the use of the studio apartment for 2 nights to prepare & store for the wedding. Thank you Karen for helping me co-ordinate the whole event with the suppliers, putting up the arch the bridge as well,checking up on us right through the weekend. I have no words, but Thank you. See you again for ny next grande event.
