Booked a unit and paid deposit and 2 weeks later the full outstanding amount of accommodation. Now with current war and petrol/diesel challenges I had to cancel more than 6 weeks in advance from booking in date. Before you book it is showing free cancellation before 30 day's. Just for info is that we stay 1600km one way from booked unit, so diesel money would have been huge with increase of prices. 12th March 2026 I send cancellation for unit. Then it came with all sorts of cancellarion fees and could take up to 10 working day's for refund. Today is the 19th and still no refund as finance are busy. It was alsi said they must wait or owner of unit to deposit, but according to owner they only receive any funds on day 2 after clents have booked in. So why all this stories. I also cancelled another booking by other institution and within 20 minutes full amount was deposited into my account. I will definitely never use SA-venues again.

We stayed at the Gateway Kalahari Hotel self catering rooms. We had no internet access as promised. Service was excellent the ladies did a great job. Water in the pool was not as clean as on the website. Aircon in the room was a big bonus. Pity the couches definitely need a deep clean we covered it up with the blankets. Guest next to us took all the parking spots. Breakfast was awesome pity it took forever to prepare.

What an amazing tranquil stay we had at the Sandstone Cottage. The view is absolutely mind blowing from the stoep. The stars and milky way are so close and clear here, fresh air and truely beautiful African sunsets. The hiking was incredible in the Bushveld among the wildlife. Will definitely visit again soon!

We have a son with autism and finding a holiday venue was a challenge. After contacting SA-Venues I was contacted within the hour and sent at least 4 links of suitable places that meets our needs. I was able to confirm the booking within 24 hrs. This after spending hours and hours on my own searching and unable to find something suitable. I am eternally grateful to a company like SA-Venues that employ such dedicated and skilled staff, who is passionate about us. It felt like I'd met a partner who cares and wants to help us. I now recommend SA-Venues to anybody and everybody who is looking for a place to go on holiday.

There's not many places that has a better view to 'take in' what we experienced. Hosts also were very accommodating. We fully recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy the outdoor experience.
