I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Bay Hotel, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The location is absolutely perfect, with breathtaking ocean views and direct access to the vibrant Camps Bay beachfront. The rooms were beautifully designed—modern, clean, and very comfortable. Waking up to the sound of the waves and that incredible view was definitely a highlight. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay special. The hotel facilities are top-class, especially the pools and outdoor areas, which are perfect for relaxing while soaking in the scenery. The on-site dining options were also excellent, offering delicious meals with equally stunning views. Overall, The Bay Hotel delivers a luxurious and relaxing experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Cape Town. I’ll definitely be back!

I cannot say enough great things about The Bay Hotel! The staff helped us book a private tour to the Cape of Good Hope, they provided complimentary welcome drinks, upgraded us for a birthday, and went above and beyond to make our trip special. The rooms are so nice and the breakfast was amazing!! My favorite hotel and staff. ❤️ Perfect location.

This was meant to be a special stay as we were celebrating my birthday, but unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. The welcome at reception was poor and unprofessional. There was no energy, no sense of hospitality, and the staff member who assisted us appeared disengaged and uninterested. First impressions matter, and this immediately set a negative tone for the entire stay. The condition of the rooms was unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. The rooms were extremely dirty, the carpets were poorly fitted and looked neglected, and several electrical plugs stopped working during our stay. Basic housekeeping and maintenance standards were clearly not being met. Overall, the hotel felt tired, poorly managed, and lacking attention to detail. Service throughout the hotel was consistently below standard, and it strongly appears that these problems stem from management. A hotel in such an incredible location should be operating at a much higher level, but professionalism and service are clearly lacking. The only positive aspect aside from the excellent location, room size, and beautiful views was Terence, the Food & Beverage Manager. He went out of his way to make my birthday special and ensured that our restaurant experience, especially breakfast, was excellent. He showed genuine care, professionalism, and leadership something that was noticeably missing elsewhere in the hotel. The waiters we encountered were also very good and attentive. Frankly, if the hotel had more managers like Terence, the experience would be completely different. Management should seriously consider promoting him to Hotel Manager the hotel might finally see the improvement it desperately needs. Despite the beautiful setting, the poor service, lack of cleanliness, and weak management mean that I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

The best experience at The Bay Hotel! The area is absolutely beautiful, and all the staff were very kind, helpful, and quick to respond. Our stay was extremely comfortable. The department manager was very understanding and answered all of our questions — I truly appreciate her. A big thank you to all the staff for their great efforts. From the United Arab Emirates, we will definitely visit again without a doubt. Thank you for everything 🤍
