We had afternoon tea and it was absolutely fantastic. The food, setting and atmosphere was just wonderful. I loved that there were only a few tables in the green room and so was not noisy at all. Loved it will be back. Also I have dietary requirements and the food did not disappoint at all so delicious.

What a stunning hotel this is! We sat inside as it was far too hot to enjoy the lush, well maintained gardens outside. The decor inside is beautiful with an atmosphere of tranquility. Our order of scones and muffins were delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. To come to this hotel is an absolute treat! Thank you.

What a wonderful hotel! I stayed with my wife for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon, and we couldn't have chosen a better hotel. Our stay was perfect. Room, service, restaurant, hotel grounds, SPA - everything was great. The hotel has a beautiful garden, ideal for morning or afternoon strolls. It is a boutique hotel, with a small number of rooms, and it was always very quiet. We will definitely return if back in Cape Town.

The photos do not do it justice, we booked here for our honeymoon and are we glad that we did! The service is exceptional, the food is incredible. On arrival we had a personal tour of the grounds, we were checked on early too. We didn't want to leave to explore cape town! We wanted to stay there the whole time! They have an excellent vegan menu, just ask for it when they seat you. Room service was incredible, we also met the local ducks and the grounds tortoise Ferguson who we found in the vineyard. We used the spa facilities and highly recommend. They do daily shuttles free to V&A waterfront and also to Kirstenbosh Botanical Gardens. We'll definitely be coming back
