Built in 1952 as a private family home for the Hamilton Russel family, it was subsequently the Embassy of The Netherlands for 40 years. Today, this reimagined residence offers a private and exclusive setting for weddings that feel intimate, personal, and effortlessly stylish. Located just 25–30 minutes from Cape Town’s city centre, Embassy Hill is close to world-class attractions such as the Cape Peninsula, and is adjacent to the Constantia Wine Valley and Table Mountain — making it a popular choice for both local and international couples. The venue overlooks False Bay, Cecilia Forest, and the scenic Constantia Nek, offering stunning natural backdrops throughout the property. Its seamless integration of indoor and outdoor spaces makes it ideal for memorable celebrations. The Conservatory, the main reception space, comfortably accommodates up to a 160 guests, including a dance floor. Full-height stacker doors open onto the garden, bringing the outdoors inside and creating a bright, airy atmosphere. The Grand Lawn offers the perfect location for your ceremony , with Cecelia Forest as the backdrop, a serene and romantic setting for your vows. The Pool Garden is ideal for pre-reception drinks and canapés, while the Library offers a quiet, elegant space for signing the marriage register or relaxed portraits. We had our wedding at Embassy Hill, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! The venue is absolutely stunning, with high standards in every aspect. Marelize, the manager, was incredibly kind and helpful from the very beginning, which was one of the main reasons we chose this venue. The staff were exceptionally polite and professional, ensuring that everything was perfectly organized. The food was fantastic, the service was impeccable, and the overall management was outstanding. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our special day. Thank you to the entire Embassy Hill team for making it so memorable!

Located in the hills of Constantia, The Forum Embassy Hill is a beautiful property perfect for events. The staff from the parking area to servers were all super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious 😋.

Our experience at The Forum was par excellence! Not only was the food offering of the highest standard, the different tastes were incredible. Nicola and the serving/waiting staff were extremely helpful, especially the young lady (didn’t take her name) who was permanently stationed in the refreshment area. Our every need was seen to, and last minute technical requests were accommodated without issue. The grounds are meticulous and the décor of unique appeal, and removed enough from the road that traffic isn’t heard. The Forum came to us highly-recommended, clearly with reason! , and we will spread the word. Did I mention that Marelize catered to, and accommodated all my crazy emails and that email communication pre-event was seamless. PS. The adorable bunny in the garden is what sets your apart 😊 You will see us soon xxx
