Situated against the mountainside in Hout Bay overlooking the harbour, is the tallest structure on Karbonkelberg - The Lichtenstein Castle.

With incredible photographic opportunities in every direction from the lush rolling green lawns complete with dragons, to the gargoyle statues on the bridge and turrets. With a tale to be told in each room, the warm teak underfloor heating, hand painted ceilings, stained glass windows and carvings of dragons and tapestries in rich beautiful textiles, the castle is a real-life fairytale ## The Ballroom Fit for a princess! The ballroom boasts sparkling black and white checkered floors, mirrored walls, handcrafted pillars complete with glass brown flowers. This beautiful ballroom is like something from a movie and the perfect place to dance the night away. ## The Honeymoon Suite Situated in a tower, the honeymoon suite consists of 3 levels; the lounge, bathroom and bedroom. A helipad, private waterfall and a heated swimming pool overlooking the ocean, lends itself to an ominous scene in the evening due to steam from the pool. There are 2 banqueting rooms - with handcrafted wooden furniture and incredible fire places. The banqueting room consists of a balcony and handcrafted DJ booth. The Lichtenstein Castle is honestly such a unique venue! The views over Hout Bay are incredible, and the whole space just feels different from your typical wedding venues. It’s got so much character, from the architecture to all the little details inside. A truly magical setting!
