We had a wonderful stay at 12 Apostles Hotel & Spa and would not hesitate to return or recommend it to others visiting Cape Town. The location is spectacular, with breathtaking ocean views that make every moment at the property feel special. Upon arrival, Justin, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Due to some nearby construction activity, he proactively upgraded us to a room in a quieter section of the hotel, which we greatly appreciated. We were celebrating my husband's birthday, and the hotel made it truly memorable with champagne, a delicious cake, and macarons waiting for us in the room. It was a thoughtful touch that made us feel genuinely valued as guests. The heated pool was a highlight for our family, especially the kids, who absolutely loved spending time there. The food and drinks throughout our stay were exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed dining at The Grill, Azure, and Leopard Bar, where both the quality of the food and the service were outstanding. The complimentary shuttle service to the V&A Waterfront was incredibly convenient and made exploring Cape Town effortless. Most importantly, every staff member we encountered was warm, hospitable, and greeted us with a smile. The level of service and genuine friendliness throughout the hotel made a lasting impression. A beautiful property, excellent dining, thoughtful service, and unforgettable views—12 Apostles Hotel & Spa exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to returning.

On 23 May 2026, we celebrated my father’s 60th birthday at The Twelve Apostles, and from the moment we arrived, we received the best service. Every staff member was extremely friendly and helpful. We were greeted with warm smiles and felt welcomed from the very beginning. I have so much appreciation for the staff who worked and assisted us that night. Around 8 p.m., just as we were about to leave, my father realised that the car’s tyre was flat. He attempted to change it but struggled, as the jack he had was too weak. We then asked for assistance from the staff at The Twelve Apostles, and without hesitation, they came to help. Those men did not hesitate for a moment to get their hands dirty, despite being dressed so smartly in their work attire. After a lot of trial and error, and one broken jack belonging to The Twelve Apostles, they eventually managed to fit the spare wheel. We then realised that the spare wheel was also flat. These men were kind and thoughtful enough to offer to drive our spare wheel to the nearest garage to have it inflated and bring it back. While they did that, we waited inside in their waiting room and were eventually called out once our car was fully set up and ready to drive home. These staff members went above and beyond for us, and it feels as though “thank you” is simply not enough. I just want everyone who was involved in assisting us that night to know that we truly appreciate it and still cannot stop speaking about the kindness and excellent service we received that night.

One of my very best lodging experiences ever. From Chloe at reception to Concierge Nigel, to Rati and Mlengisi in the fun and beautiful Leopard Bar, to the ladies at Azure and housekeeping, to the porters - everyone here went above and beyond with a genuine smile. The location was very special and public spaces had stunning sunset views of the coast. The complimentary shuttle to the waterfront in Cape Town and Camps Bay was convenient and reliable, making the somewhat isolated location accessible. My room was impeccable with a private patio in a rock garden. Can’t say enough good things about my 3 night stay.

We had the most unforgettable stay at The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa while celebrating a special birthday for my husband. When they say 5-star, they truly mean it. This is easily one of the best stays we’ve ever had, and we travel often. From the moment the booking was made right through to our departure, the service was impeccable. The team followed up after my reservation, helped arrange special birthday touches, and even took care of our dinner booking and movie screening in advance, which made everything feel effortless. On arrival, valet took care of our car seamlessly, and while our room was being prepared, we enjoyed a relaxed lunch at The Leopard Bar. The food was delicious, the cocktails were amazing, and the service was warm and attentive. We were then upgraded to a beautiful, spacious pool-facing room with easy access to the pool, such a thoughtful touch. The room itself was stunning, comfortable, and filled with special details. We were welcomed with champagne on ice, a glass already poured, balloons, and macarons for the birthday. I had pre-ordered a cake, and it turned out to be the best chocolate cake we’ve ever had. It was delivered straight to our room and was absolutely perfect. The complimentary shuttle service to Camps Bay and the V&A Waterfront was another highlight. The driver was incredibly friendly, shared lovely stories, and the shuttle was stocked with snacks. It felt safe, smooth, and very well organised. Later, we spent time at the spa, which was exactly what we needed on a chilly, rainy afternoon. The hydro pools, which are complimentary for guests, were such a treat. We relaxed with healthy drinks and snacks before enjoying the most incredible back, neck, and shoulder massages. The therapists were exceptional, and we left feeling completely refreshed. The birthday nougat was such a sweet and thoughtful touch. In the evening, we had a three-course dinner at Azure Restaurant. Once again, the service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the portions were generous and satisfying. We then enjoyed a movie in the theatre, complete with milkshakes, popcorn, and sweets, such a fun and unique experience. Returning to our room later that evening, we were welcomed by turn-down service that made us feel like royalty. Robes laid out, chocolates on the bed, and every little detail perfectly prepared for a cosy night in. The next morning, breakfast at Azure was just as impressive, with a wide variety of options from fresh fruits to warm dishes, all served with exceptional care. As we checked out, we were sent off with more thoughtful treats and the warmest goodbye. Thank you to the entire team at The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa for such a magical experience. We truly loved every moment and cannot wait to return ❤️
