Unique hotel in every positive way possible. Common areas stunning, brilliant extensive tasty breakfast buffet, possibly the most well conceived room amenities, design, bathroom, furnishings and other details of any I ever encountered. Superior location away from tourist zone and near superior shopping if you are in to that. Grounds are stunning although rain during our stay curtailed any extensive tour. Art work in room and common areas just remarkable, sophisticated and beautiful...a real collection. Sleep quality superb. Professional well trained staff. Someone with a real eye walks the common areas and rooms often. Nothing out of place. Great shower. I have no idea how in any world, this is a 4 star hotel. This is 5 star in any rating system that has any credibility. What, they get dinged for no telephone in the toilet? This place is just totally superior.

My recent stay at the Vineyard Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel is absolutely stunning, with beautiful gardens, elegant rooms, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it the perfect escape. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Every member of staff was warm, professional, and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The highlight, however, was the breakfast buffet. It is truly out of this world! I have stayed at many hotels over the years, and I can honestly say this was the best breakfast I have ever experienced. The variety, freshness, and quality of the food were simply incredible, with something to suit every taste. Without a doubt, this is one of the finest hotels in Cape Town. I cannot recommend the Vineyard Hotel highly enough and will definitely be returning.

Dropped in for Breakfast, Now I've had the pleasure to visit Hotels & Restaurants from all around the world and this place was such a refreshing surprise. The quality and combination of food for Brunch was exceptional, the staff was unmatched in their attentiveness and friendliness. Totally mind blown, what an excellent spot, Will be coming back soon. The Vineyard, is rated as a 4star Hotel but I rate The Vineyard as a 5 Star. I have stayed at The Vineyard many times, sometimes two or three times a year. Most hotels have comfortable beds, showers, baths, tv, kettle, iron, swimming pool, gym etc etc. However what other hotels do not have is the exceptional and wonderful staff that The Vineyard has. Each and every staff member goes above and beyond to deliver exceptional service and care for all visitors to the hotel not just the guests. The staff are hard working, attentive, helpful, forward thinking, caring, understanding. During my work or my travels if things go wrong, yes I will complain but if my complaint is due to bad service then I always blame management for not providing adequate training and for The Vineyard I compliment not only staff but the management also, for getting the training of their staff to such a perfection. We had the pleasure of being served at the restaurants by many people but one person will always be in my memory. Trust, one of the waiters in the courtyard restaurant, we were a group of 7, Trust was perfect in his service and care for all the guests. What stood out about Trust was that 10 minutes or so after we all left the table, I went back to my room and I received a phone call, I did not hear very well, but I heard something like “on the table” and I said to Trust “ I will come down” I figured that I may have left my my hand sanitiser on the table. When I got to the restaurant Trust came out from the kitchen holding some money, “sir you left this on the table” I had completely forgotten I had left 400Rand on the table! It would be totally understandable if Trust had thought this was an additional tip and 99% people would think that but not Trust he called to tell me and safely kept the money until I came down. 400Rand is not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things but it is the principal which Trust adheres to, honesty and he lives by his name, Trust!
