The rooms are rather simply furnished for a 4-star hotel. The bathroom is small and feels somewhat dated. Overall, the room was comfortable, but it did not quite meet the standard of other hotels in the same price range in South Africa. The location is good and relatively quiet, and rooms with a sea view offer a beautiful outlook. Breakfast was very good. Staff interactions varied, ranging from very friendly to less motivated. Unfortunately, the outdoor areas were not as well maintained as shown in the pictures. Based on our experience, we would likely choose different accommodation in the town next time.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious and more than enough — you have to try it! My room had a beautiful ocean view, and the sound of the waves truly calmed my soul. The bed was incredibly comfortable; I slept peacefully every night and honestly didn’t want to get up… but the view outside kept calling me. I genuinely love this place. Sadly, my stay has come to an end, but the owner, manager, and staff were all so friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back, and you should definitely try this place!

Had a wonderful stay here. Management is very hospitable and attentive. Enjoyed the beautiful room with the sea view, and a lovely breakfast each morning. The hotel is also right across Fisherman’s beach, which is wonderful for a morning swim before starting your day.

Awful stay! We were welcomed by a woman who couldn’t speak proper English. After installing in our room, the woman got a message from her boss Elsa that we got the wrong room and had to switch. In the room there were a lot of malfunctions (toilet seat, lights, window covers stuck). It was wintertime so we put on the heating when going out for dinner. When coming back we discovered that the lady went in our room to turn the heater off. In the evening I send an unhappy message to host Elsa. It was read, but I didn’t get an answer. In the morning she greeted us but pretended nothing had happened. When asking for a partial refund she refused. Breakfast was not that great either. We asked for toast, egg and bacon because we didn’t like the menu options. Due to not speaking English properly and understanding our order they only made us egg, forgot the bacon and the toast came in very late. The pictures online look fabulous, but in reality this hotel is really outdated. The parking lot is very small, so watch out with your car. The only nice thing was the beautiful ocean view. We were happy to leave, don’t go there!
