Always enjoy staying at Clanwilliam Hotel when I'm in the Cederberg area. Comfortable, unpretentious rooms, and warm service from the team, and an attentive hotel manager. Veered off their excellent a la carte menu, and had their tomatoe breedie special last night. A big helping, and delicious!!

We always stay at the Clanwilliam Hotel when travelling from Windhoek to Cape Town, because: 1) It is so conveniently located on the route. 2) The service is of an outstanding nature. You don't even have to book in advance. You can just pop in and they will make a plan to accommodate you. This for us is superb. 3) The staff and management are very friendly and helpful. 4) The food is exceptionally good! We will always stay there on our travels. I can highly recommend!

I visited Clanwilliam Hotel on a work trip with colleagues, and our experience was warm and welcoming from the start. The receptionist greeted us with a smile, ensured our rooms were ready, and even took the time to show us around key areas such as the restaurant, pool, and public restrooms. I stayed in Room 28, which was clean and comfortable. On the morning of the 17th, we enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant. The bread and fruit were fresh, and my scrambled eggs and sausages were delicious, though the tomato was a little soggy. Service throughout was excellent. Dinner that evening was also enjoyable. We tried the burger special and the fish with salad. The burger was fantastic, with a generous portion of chips. The fish was well cooked inside, though the batter felt a bit heavy for my taste. A grilled fish option would be a nice addition to the menu. The pool was another highlight—always clean and inviting. I had a swim myself and loved the experience. Overall, Clanwilliam Hotel provided a pleasant and professional stay, with friendly service, clean facilities, and good food. I would happily recommend it for both work and leisure trips.
