The Beach House in Wilderness is an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that instantly made us feel like part of the family. The management and staff go above and beyond — attentive, kind, and always ready to help with a smile. The location is unbeatable, with breathtaking ocean views and the soothing sound of waves right at your doorstep. The rooms are spotless, cozy, and beautifully styled, creating the perfect space to unwind and reconnect with nature. Every detail, from the delicious breakfast to the peaceful atmosphere, reflects true care and passion. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special — it’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve left.

Such a great spot! The staff are lovely and the dorm room is very nice! Only downside is you can’t sit up straight in the bottom bunks, but you don’t spend much time in bed here! The view from the backpackers is the best view ever.

Better than most Boutique hotels with quality bedlinen, great atmosphere, views that leaves one short of breath and a healthy wholesome menu with cold refreshments and soft serve at the restaurant & entertainment bar to top it all. It really has all it takes to make this your one stop holiday destination for a laid back and leisurely retreat at a fraction of the cost.

I had a great stay at Wilderness Beach House Backpackers Lodge. The volunteers are amazing, friendly, helpful, and always creating a welcoming atmosphere. The whole team does a fantastic job and really cares about the guests. The dormitories are quiet, clean, and comfortable, which makes it easy to rest and feel at home. On top of that, the vibe of the place is just perfect: relaxed, social, and positive. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Wilderness and looking for a warm, peaceful, and well-run backpackers lodge.
